These terms cover the script tool on pitchlife.nl, the one you use to write a speech, a pitch or a presentation. Use the tool and you agree to them. The heart of it: you make the script and you are responsible for it.
The script tool, and nothing else. For our training we make separate arrangements per engagement. You start with a number of free credits. Want more, you buy them.
What you make with the tool is yours. That makes it your responsibility too. You check whether it is true: the facts, the figures, the names, the claims about your product or your organisation. And you decide whether you say it out loud, send it or publish it, and to whom.
A language model predicts text. It does not check facts. So it can state something that is wrong, quote a figure that came from nowhere, or invent a source that does not exist. Read it through before you take it on stage.
The coherence check in the tool looks over your answers before you generate, but it does not catch everything. Your own check is still needed.
Your answers and your script live in your own browser, not on a server of ours. To write a script your text does go to Google Gemini, the language model behind the tool. That happens with your own API key, or with the key we send along. So do not put anything in it that has to stay confidential. How we handle data is set out in our privacy policy.
Credits are prepaid balance for using the tool. They buy a service, not a product. A credit is spent the moment the tool starts working with it.
Your credits sit in your own browser, just like your script. There is no account. Clear your browser data, or switch to another device, and they are gone. So keep your own copy of anything you care about.
Something wrong with your purchase, or credits gone without anything to show for it? Get in touch and we will sort it out. Your statutory rights as a consumer still apply.
We offer the tool as it is. We do not promise that it suits a particular purpose, that it is always available, or that it works without fault. We may change it or stop it.
Life's a Pitch is not liable for the content of your script, for what happens when you use it, or for decisions you or anyone else base on it. That covers the damage that follows from it as well, such as a lost deal or damage to your reputation.
Should one of these limits not hold, our liability is capped at what you paid for credits in the three months before.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. A dispute we cannot settle between us goes to the competent court in the Netherlands.
